TV4OU serves the University of Oklahoma and surrounding communities via Cox Cable Television Channel 4. We have a variety of programming, including OU Nightly, The Sports Package, Point of View, On Campus, and the TV4OU Concert Series.

Can I be a sponsor of TV4OU?
TV4OU is always looking for individuals and businesses interested in underwriting our programming. We offer several different underwriting packages at reasonable and competitive rates. Which positions offer college credit?
JMC 3773 Television News provides the majority of the content for the newscast. Students are expected to shoot packages, voice-overs, and VO-SOTs, as well as writing scripts for each newscast. The majority of the anchors and sportscasters also come from the class.
JMC 3011 Practicum provides most of the technical support for the newscast. Students enrolled in the class work at various positions, including camera operation and floor direction.
Do you get paid?
Although the largest portion of our staff, our crew and talent, participate only for experience and college credit, there are paid managerial positions available. Anyone interested in working for us in any manner should contact the TV4OU office at 325-0121.
